Solo - "… an ingenious little data-capturing device"
SportsCar Magazine hit the Streets of Willow for a six-tire shootout aboard a 2013 Scion FR-S. On-board, connected to FR-S ECU, locked onto the overhead satellites, and gathering all the tire test data was our Solo DL. SCCA members can read the complete article in your March 2013 edition of SportsCar or preview the article in digital form here.
SportsCar had this to say about the Solo DL. "The AiM Sports Solo DL is an ingenious little data-capturing device. Able to run off its own internal power, or off your car's 12-volt system, it's perfect for any application. AiM also has protocols for more than 300 different ECUs, making it possible to tap into everything from an OE unit to a race-specific standalone unit for more data. When paired with the SmartyCam video camera, you probably have every piece of information you will likely ever need."
