MyChron Mike's Loose Wires

hi we are new to kart racing.my son is jake he ran 9 races last year and won 2 features and 3 heats with 2 poles.i was wondering what makes your product better than your competition.we are a low budget team and have to spend our money wisely due to its not falling out of the sky.i have seen the digitrons selling for lower prices but i think that maybe people did not like its performance and are updating or switching to another tach.i do like the fact that you can download yours.i found that one problem we had is i forget to turn the tach on. i am busy trying to get help getting his kart off the stand down onto the grid,blowing in fuel tank ,pulling crank and making sure jake is emotionally ready to race by saying a prayer with him and send him out.when he comes in i think did i turn that tach on. nope i forgot.is there a way that when power from motor is on thst it will turn on tach.or an illuminated button that my son can see and turn on when he is taking a pace lap.just curios to see what you can tell me about this.

I have a my chron 2 data logger, I was wondering if i can buy a book on it to better understand it.

My son and I are new to kart racing and a friend let us use his My-Chron 2. He quickly went over the menu system, but I just did't get it. Can you offer any info on an operator's manual? Thanks.
