John Thomas McKnight
My "little" brother known to his family and friends as "Johnny T" was killed Thanksgiving Day in a tragic accident. Johnny never met a stranger and was at home anywhere and with anyone. He was a loving father for his daughter Taylor Rae and to his wife Sherrie. Johnny was loved by so many and in his short 50 years he touched many people and left lasting impressions. He had a knack for success and lived life with a zeal and enthusiam which I admired so much. Johnny owned and operated Absolute Golf Carts in Grants Pass Oregon and he was just recently awarded a distributorship for the prestigious Club Car brand for Southern Oregon. He was so proud to have reached this goal after several years of hard work and we all so lucly to have shared in his happiness.
Really what I want to say is that my sisters Karen, Margie, our informally adopted brother Billy Wolfe and myself loved the guy so much and are going to miss him terribly. He was a great guy and terrific brother. We love you Johnny T!

HI, I hope you remember me. I met John when he worked at Bicycleland and we were both about 19. I know I met you and your sisters several times over the years. I'm so sorry to hear of John's passing. I wanted to send a card to the family but couldn't find an addy, so this will have to do. My sympathies go out to all of you, esp his wife and daughter. John and I dated off and on back then. He was this "spark of life" darling face with freckles and just so kind and friendly! My brothers all loved him as well as my parents! We of course had very little money so our dates were pretty much just "hanging out"...but always fun! My brothers remember him working at Foothill VW, and in fact called to tell me of his passing. You are truly right, he could make friends anywhere! he was a little bit "wild", in a good way and so much fun! I hope his life was wonderful, it sures sounds so. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of you...He was probably the nicest guy I ever dated (prior to my husband)!Sincerely, Nancy

Hey babe, I got your message yesterday and didn't know how to view comments, so Margie just showed me how. How nice of Nancy and Lisa to post comments, they mean so much to all of us.
Hi Mikeeee! It's me Margie. I'm over at Karens with Janet. Tough day today! I love having Janet here but it made it hard cuz of course it reminds me of why Dad isn't here with her and why she was here in the first place. I hope you and Chad are tearing up Orlando! Remember there's a little bit of Johnny in all of us and raise some hell!! Love you so much!

Dear Mike:
How sad we are to learn of John's tragic accident. I will never forget John and his enthusiam for "going out to Arroyo" with our family(Mitch, Lisa, Tim & Loren) and many other outings. We really had some great times that will always live in our memories of John. Last time I saw John, was at a car dealership in La Canada, Maybe 10/15 years ago. Our condolances to you and your family.
Much love and hope you feel our support in this very hard time for you all.
