Race Studio 2.30.10
Okay, so I released Race Studio v2.30.09 early, apparently it wasn't meant for public release, though there are no problems with it. I published it for some early use of the Mitsubishi EVO X ECU driver. Today, officially, Race Studio 2 version 2.30.10 is released with the following improvements, most of which were in 2.30.09:
- Added System Support
- EVO4 (forthcoming data logger)
- Added ECU Support
- Emerald K3
- EFI USA 2.1 v7
- Mitsubishi EVO X (Street Car)
- Triject Plus v5.10
- Ferrari 430 GT2
- Race Studio 2 Analysis and Download
- Fixed rare bug that could cause GPS data shift to one run, when multiples were downloaded.
- Updated Japanese language pack.
The new Race Studio 2.30.10 can be downloaded here.

Mitsubishi EVO X
With today's release of Race Studio 2.30.09, the ECU connection was added for the Mitsubishi EVO X, a much anticipated protocol.
Now with a simple two wire connection, a nice set of 15 channels are available from the car's high speed CAN data bus.
- Available Channels
- Engine RPM
- Speed
- Speed, Front Left
- Speed, Front Right
- Speed, Rear Left
- Speed, Rear Right
- Pedal Position
- Throttle Position
- Throttle Position, Input Drive by Wire
- Brake Switch
- Engine Temperature
- Mass Air Flow
- Turbo Pressure
- Steering Angle
- Steering Speed
Documentation is forthcoming, for those anxious to get started, you can tap in to the high-speed CAN-bus at the connector to the left of the clutch pedal, which connects through the differential control unit (see photo below). This protocol will work with the AiM MXL, MyChron3 XG Log, MyChron3 Visor, the EVO3 Pista and Pro, and the soon to be released AiM EVO4.
